No matter how careful and mindful you are, you can neither predict nor prevent events caused by another’s negligence. In 2020, nearly 300 people were killed in car accidents throughout the city.

As shown in the same data, which was provided by the Utah Department of Public Safety, Utah automobile collisions are causing an ever-increasing number of fatalities. In that same year, more than 54,000 road accidents took place just in Salt Lake City, leaving more than 17,000 people with some extent of injury.

Some of the most common causes of traffic accidents in Utah include:

  • Drivers who disregard traffic laws
  • Drives who are intoxicated
  • Drivers who are sleep deprived
  • Speeding
