Knolls, UT (November 08, 2021) – A woman was killed on Sunday, November 7th during a car accident on Interstate 80 in Tooele County.
At about 6:50 a.m., a vehicle was traveling westbound on I-80 about two miles outside of Knolls when, for reasons still under investigation, it veered off the roadway. The driver then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll.
Three people were in the car when the accident occurred.
A woman was ejected and med flighted to the University of Utah Hospital. Her injuries were originally classified as non-life-threatening but she passed away at about 4:00 p.m.
Her name has not been released.
The other vehicle occupants sustained non-critical injuries.
