Filing a Claim After a Utah Motorcycle Accident

When a motorcyclist is injured during a collision, the financial and physical damage can be overwhelming and the journey to recovery is usually quite arduous. If you were injured in a motorcycle accident for which you think someone else was responsible, we urge you to meet with a motorcycle injury lawyer in Utah who has decades of practice successfully representing the injured victims of these traumatic accidents.

A reputable Utah motorcycle collision attorney will have a thorough understanding of proper legal protocols and will be able to skillfully manage your claim from beginning to end. Retaining legal counsel will significantly increase your chances of receiving the full amount of compensation to which you are entitled for the damages you have endured.

Crashes involving motorcycles are regarded, rightfully, as one of the most catastrophic kinds of accidents because bikes are often operated at extremely high speeds and fail to provide their occupants with any real measure of safety. In truth, research has shown that nearly 98% of all bike crashes result in some extent of injury.

Sadly, it is not uncommon for any accident to give rise to serious victim injuries or deaths. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that a person riding a motorcycle is eight times more likely to be injured and 37 times more likely to be killed in a collision than the occupant of any passenger vehicle under the same circumstances.

Motorcyclists are extremely vulnerable to death and critical injuries in a way that those who operate more traditional vehicles are not. A distracted motorist can suddenly veer into their lane, causing them to lose control of their motorcycle, and causing a crash absent of any physical contact. If a vehicle suddenly brakes in front of a motorcycle, the rider can be thrown from their bike and receive very severe injuries when they strike the pavement.

Let our lawyers deal with the frustrations of the legal process while you focus on healing. If you lost a family member in a motorcycle collision, contact our wrongful death lawyers in Utah at 801-350-3506 to schedule a free case evaluation.
