Taylorsville, UT (September 23, 2022) – An accident involving a vehicle rollover left at least one victim with injuries on Friday, September 23rd in Taylorsville.

The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 3600 West and 5400 South, just off Bangerter Highway, when two vehicles collided with one another. The impact caused one of the involved vehicles to overturn.

Police and EMTs responded to the scene where they investigated the incident and rendered aid to the victims.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

If you were injured in a rollover crash, the law entitles you to financial compensation for your injuries. This is true even if the driver is a good friend, coworker, or member of your household.

A rollover collision is one where the vehicle flips onto its side or roof. Rollover crashes often happen when a driver overcorrects after swerving to avoid an object in the roadway or makes a sudden, unexpected stop. Rollover accidents can also stem from an issue with the vehicle’s tires.

Rollover accidents often leave their victims with severe injuries, including:

  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Spinal cord injuries
  • Neck or back injuries
  • Broken bones
  • Deaths
  • Paralysis

The catastrophic nature of these injuries usually leaves victims with enormous medical bills, a long period of recovery during which they cannot work, and, in extreme cases, permanent disabilities that could demand a lifetime of care.
