Vehicle Accidents in Utah

Car accidents happen every day across the country. These accidents can vary from small fender benders to deadly collisions. Usually, the injuries sustained by crash victims are so serious they take months, or sometimes even years, to completely recover.

Utah’s car insurance laws are complicated and take time and effort to fully understand, especially if you are in pain and trying to heal from your injuries.

Utah adheres to a modified comparative fault system. This means you are eligible to pursue damages provided that the at-fault driver is liable for a greater percentage of the accident than you. If the jury determines that you were responsible for any portion of the accident, your damages will be reduced by that percentage.

If you or a family member was injured in a car accident and are fighting to figure out how you are going to handle the unexpected financial responsibility, you should reach out to a Utah car accident lawyer.

A Utah personal injury attorney can guide you through the claims process, from consultation to settlement. That includes handling any investigation, calculations, and paperwork needed to get you the maximum amount of compensation.
