Scofield, UT (March 30, 2021) – A truck operator was killed on Tuesday, March 30th when his parked truck started moving and rolled over him.
The accident occurred at about 12:00 p.m. on U.S. Highway 6 near mile marker 218, in the area of the turnoff for State Route 96.
The operator had the truck securely parked on an incline, but as he exited the cab, it began to move backward. He fell trying to get back into the truck which then rolled over him, leaving him with fatal injuries.
His identity has not been released.
