West Jordan, UT (July 01, 2021) – A worker has been hospitalized following an industrial accident on Thursday, July 1st in West Jordan.
Police responded to the Papa Pita Bakery near 6000 West Dannon Way after receiving reports of an employee who had become trapped in some mechanical equipment.
Upon their arrival, they discovered a man in his 30’s caught inside a piece of machinery.
Additional emergency crews were dispatched to help extricate the victim. He was then transported via medical helicopter to an area hospital in critical condition.
No further information about the accident has been released.
