Ticaboo, UT (July 01, 2021) – A woman was killed on Wednesday, June 30th when the car in which she was riding crashed and overturned on Wednesday, June 30th in southern Utah.
The accident took place at about 2:00 p.m. along State Route 276 just outside of Ticaboo when a Toyota Sequoia went off the road. The driver overcorrected in an attempt to get back onto the roadway, which caused the vehicle to overturn and come to a stop on its roof.
A passenger in the vehicle, a 20-year-old female, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other occupants of the vehicle sustained critical injuries and were airlifted to a trauma center.
Two other injured occupants were transported to a local hospital in an ambulance.
The crash remains under investigation.
