Distracted or irresponsible drivers sometimes fail to see a stopped vehicle, resulting in a severe crash. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rear-end accidents are the most commonly reported kind of accident. Rear-end collisions account for about a third of all fatal two-vehicle collisions and nearly a quarter of all injury occurrences. Around 2.5 million rear-end crashes are reported every year, resulting in thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands of injuries. Almost usually, the driver from behind is to blame for these collisions.
