Springville, UT (September 06, 2022) – On Tuesday, September 6th, an injury-causing crash took place on Interstate 15 in Springville.
According to reports, the crash occurred at about 8:05 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 near the turn-off for 4000 South. The incident caused the closure of the lefthand lane and a five-mile traffic back-up into Spanish Fork.
Highway troopers and paramedics were on the scene. They took at least one person away in an ambulance. The degree of their injuries is unknown.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
