Brigham City, UT (June 16, 2022) – A Dollar Tree in Brigham City sustained several thousand dollars worth of damage when an elderly woman drove her car through the store’s entryway on Tuesday, June 14th.
According to a representative from the Brigham City Police, the accident took place at about 1:30 p.m. in the area of 1150 South and 972 West when the woman was out driving with her husband. As she was trying to park, she accidentally depressed the car’s accelerator rather than the brake, propelling the vehicle through the plate glass window and depositing it squarely in front of the cash register.
