West Valley City, UT (January 21, 2022) – One man was killed during a collision on Bangerter Highway on Friday, January 21st in West Valley City.
The victim has since been identified as 19-year-old Riley Larsen, a resident of Herriman.
Police were notified of a head-on crash between a car and a box truck, which took place on Bangerter Highway at the intersection of 2400 South, at about 6:55 a.m.
Multiple emergency response units were dispatched to the scene.
The 19-year-old driver of the car died at the scene.
The driver of the box truck sustained non-critical minor injuries trying to help the teenage driver.
