Car Accidents in Utah

There are a lot of laws pertaining to car insurance that are specific to the state of Utah that a personal injury attorney will be able to help you understand and adhere to while still being eligible to receive compensation.

Utah requires all drivers to carry a minimum of $3,000 in Personal Injury Protection insurance. This is designed to fulfill the cost of any medical expenses for the victim’s injuries, $20 a day in household help, and as much as $250 a week in lost incomes, regardless of who was liable.

For most Utah car crash victims, however, this is nowhere near enough to cover all of their accident-related losses and damages. It also neglects to offer victims any degree of financial compensation for their pain and suffering. A skilled Utah car accident lawyer will be familiar with the best way to deal with your current expenses and provide you with a successful outcome to your injury claim.
