If you have sustained an injury in a Utah pedestrian accident, you will quickly receive a call from the insurance company of the driver involved in your accident, hoping to get you to provide a recorded statement. You are not required to oblige, nor is it recommended that you do so if you have not yet sought the counsel of a personal injury attorney.
It is always a wise move to meet with an attorney before giving a statement to anyone. This is due to the fact that insurance carriers actually teach their adjusters to ask certain questions worded in such a way as to bring down the value of your claim as much as possible. An experienced Utah pedestrian accident attorney can stop these adjusters from taking advantage of you.
