West Valley City, UT – One Airlifted After Major Multi-Vehicle Crash On Mountain View Corridor

West Valley City, UT (June 25, 2021) – A serious accident involving several different vehicles has shut down Mountain View Corridor at 3500 South in West Valley City.

Four passenger cars and a dump truck were involved in the crash. Part of the dump truck was on top of one of the passenger vehicles.

According to police, one victim was critically injured and was med flighted to a hospital. Three additional victims sustained non-critical injuries and were also taken to area hospitals.  

Investigators are looking into equipment failure on one of the vehicles as a possible cause of the accident.
