Salt Lake City, UT (December 15, 2021) – Two police officers from Weber State University were responding to a two-car accident when they were struck by a vehicle and badly injured on Wednesday, December 15th.
As the officers pulled over to assist with the accident that was partially blocking the southbound HOV lane on Interstate 15 in the area of 700 South, a third car pushed one of the stopped vehicles into the officers.
Both officers are currently hospitalized in serious but non-life-threatening conditions.
