Salt Lake City, UT (April 18, 2021) – A male in his mid-30s sustained fatal injuries when his motorcycle was struck by a car near Liberty Park on Saturday, April 17th in Salt Lake City.
Reports show that the accident took place at about 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of 1300 South and 700 East when an SUV heading northbound on 700 East tried to make a lefthand turn onto 1300 South and crashed into a motorcycle driving southbound on 700 East.
Witnesses to the accident attempted CPR on the biker, along with emergency responders when they arrived. The man was, however, pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating and cannot offer more information.
