Salt Lake City, UT (May 1, 2022) – Authorities were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident in the Salt Lake City area that ended in injuries. At around 1:30 a.m., on May 1, the police, firefighters, and EMS were all notified that an auto accident on Interstate 80 required assistance.
Reports from the Utah Department of Transportation show that a collision between vehicles occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 80. The incident caused moderate delays in the area of southbound Interstate 215 West. The incident blocked the right lane and shoulder of the roadway.
EMS responded to treat injured victims and transport those in need of further care to area hospitals.
