St. George, UT (February 23, 2022) – A senior citizen died after being struck by a car on Sunset Boulevard on Wednesday, February 23rd.
At about 7:00 a.m., officers and emergency responders were dispatched for reports of an accident involving a car hitting a pedestrian.
Upon their arrival, responders located a man whom they estimated to be in his late 70s, lying dead in the center turn lane. A metal walker was found just a few feet away.
The victim was pronounced at the scene.
This accident is under investigation by the accident reconstruction team.
