Cedar City, UT (October 12, 2021) – One woman was transported to a local hospital after her vehicle collided with an oncoming piece of farm machinery in Cedar City on Monday, October 11th.
The accident took place at about 7:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Westview Drive. n
The adult female driver of a white Saturn was traveling northbound on Westview Drive when her car was involved in a sideswipe accident with a southbound planting machine that was being towed by a Dodge Ram pick-up truck.
The driver of the Saturn was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to Cedar City Hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
This accident is under investigation by the Iron County Sheriff’s Office. No citations have been issued since it has not yet been determined which driver went over the centerline.
