Salt Lake City, UT (November 14, 2021) – A motorcycle burst into flames after it was involved in an accident with another car in the Salt Lake City area on Saturday afternoon, November 13.
The incident happened on 1300 South, and per Salt Lake City Firefighters and IAFF Local 81 reports, the motorcycle was fully engulfed when crews arrived on the scene.
Additional units were called out and the fire was eventually extinguished.
Officials said the motorcyclist was injured but was able to transport himself to the hospital. Details about his injuries were not immediately available, and it’s unclear if any other victims suffered injuries in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
