South Salt Lake, UT (May 23, 2021) – One woman was taken to an area hospital in very serious condition on Sunday, May 22nd after her car was struck by a driver running a red light.
The accident took place at about 6:15 p.m. in the area of 2700 South and 105 West.
The victim’s condition has since been upgraded to stable, with significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
Two other people also sustained non-critical injuries during the crash.
The driver who allegedly ran the red light was an unlicensed juvenile. No other information was available as the incident is still under investigation.
