Hurricane, UT (March 21, 2021) – At about 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 21st, police responded to the scene of a hit-and-run accident in the 500 block of North State Street in Hurricane.
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures on the man, who has since been identified as a 22-year-old resident of Hurricane. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
According to a police statement, the victim was struck by a light color truck or full-size SUV that continued southbound down State Street.
