Weber Co, UT (June 06, 2021) – A woman was airlifted to a trauma center on Saturday, June 5th after she was ejected from a Wave Runner at Pineview Reservoir.
The Weber Fire District confirmed that the victim was one of two people riding the watercraft and jumping waves when both were thrown into the water.
Bystanders could see that the woman was badly injured and attempted to stabilize her in the water until help arrived.
Paramedics loaded the victim onto a backboard, got her out of the water, and transported her to the AirLife Helicopter waiting at a nearby marina.
