Randolph, UT (July 13, 2021) – Two people were killed and two more were transported with serious injuries following a head-on collision on Saturday, July 10th.
Reports show that, at about 12:55 p.m., a 2018 Toyota RAV4 was driving northbound on State Route 16 just outside of Randolph when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, it swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed head-first into a 2013 Ford Expedition.
The driver and passenger in the Toyota both died on the scene.
The driver of the Expedition was taken by paramedics to a local while the passenger was taken by medical helicopter. Both sustained significant injuries during the impact.
The roadway was closed for about four hours for police investigation.
No names have been released.
