Our thoughts are with the injured victims at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
In Utah, every driver is required to have $3,000 in Personal Injury Protection insurance as a minimum. This is designed to cover medical treatment for any injuries, up to $250 a week in lost income, and up to $20 a day in family assistance, no matter who was liable.
Sadly, for the majority of Utah car accident victims, this is not enough to cover the entirety of their hospital bills and lost income, and provides Utah crash victims no financial compensation for pain and suffering. A skilled personal injury attorney will know how to handle your expenses associated with hospital stays and necessary medical treatments while your case is ongoing.
