Taylorsville, UT (October 7, 2020) – A motorcycle accident on Tuesday evening left one person critically injured. On October 6, a group of motorcyclists was traveling on 5400 South.
While traveling through the intersection of 5400 South and 1900 West, a Jeep turned from the center lane and struck one of the riders. The motorcycles then followed the Jeep driver into a parking lot and attempted to get the driver to exit their vehicle. Instead of doing so, the driver backed up the vehicle and struck a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the accident. The victim was rushed to an area hospital where they were admitted for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Unified Police Department.
