Cedar City, UT (January 01, 2022) – One victim required extrication after a single-car crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 in Washington County.
The accident took place just outside of Cedar City at about 3:00 p.m. when the driver of a vehicle lost control and ran into the median.
One of the people inside the vehicle was pinned and had to be extricated by emergency crews.
A medical helicopter was requested but was unable to respond due to inclement weather.
The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
