Lehi, UT (February 10, 2022) – On Thursday, February 10th, a two-truck accident that caused injuries to an unknown number of victims, as well as a three-mile traffic jam, took place in Lehi at about 11:50 a.m.
Police reports show that the collision took place in the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 in the area of 2100 North when a pick-up truck towing a flatbed trailer and a tractor-trailer collided with one another.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are unclear but the impact left the pick-up facing the wrong way in traffic while the semi was jackknifed in the middle of the roadway.
State police and emergency responders all reported to the scene where they assisted in vehicle rescue, road clean-up, and pre-hospital emergency care.
