Every day, innocent people in Utah are killed in motor vehicle accidents. Each and every day and throughout the whole year, our state has a variety of car accidents. The following are among the most commonly reported types of accidents:
- Multiple-vehicle crashes often include two or more vehicles and may result in severe injuries. Multiple-vehicle crashes occur more often on the roads and interstates of our state.
- Rear-end crashes occur often at intersections and on busy roadways, such as in construction zones. When drivers are not attentive to the road ahead, they are likely to crash with other vehicles without notice.
- Automobiles trapped in a lateral posture, meanwhile, are susceptible to rollover accidents. On contemporary roadways, however, speeding drivers and other types of accidents may cause one or more vehicles to roll over.
- When the front underside of one vehicle collides with the side of another vehicle, this is referred to as a T-bone or broadside accident. This kind of collision also often ends in a rollover.
