Every day in Utah, innocent people are seriously injured or killed in automobile accidents. Every day and throughout the year, a variety of automotive accidents occur in our state. The following are among the most commonly reported types of accidents:
- Multiple-vehicle collisions often include two or more vehicles and may result in severe injuries. Multiple-vehicle collisions are becoming more frequent on the roads and interstates of our state.
- Frequently, rear-end crashes occur near intersections and on busy roadways, such as in construction zones. Drivers who are not attentive to the road ahead are more likely to unknowingly crash with other vehicles.
- On the other hand, vehicles in a lateral posture are susceptible to rollover mishaps. On contemporary freeways, however, fast drivers and other types of accidents may force one or more automobiles to flip over.
- When the front underside of one vehicle collides with the side of another, a T-bone or broadside accident occurs. This kind of collision often results in a rollover.
