Virgin, UT (September 06, 2021) – On Monday, September 5th, a man and a woman were killed during a car accident on State Route 9, about ten miles outside of Zion National Park.
At about 9:00 a.m., the two victims were traveling westbound in a Toyota Camry when they drifted onto the righthand shoulder. When they maneuvered back onto the roadway, they were directly in the path of an eastbound Ford van, which crashed into the passenger side of the Camry.
The driver and passenger of the Camry were pronounced dead at the scene.
The two occupants of the van are in fair condition.
The identities of the victims have not been released pending family notification.
