South Jordan, UT (September 25, 2021) – A woman was killed when three vehicles collided on Saturday, September 25th in South Jordan.
South Jordan Police said that the accident took place at about 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of South Jordan Parkway and 750 West in Salt Lake County.
Two vehicles crashed into one another during the initial impact. They were then struck by a third vehicle.
The victim was a 40-year-old woman. She was transported by ambulance to an area trauma center where she was pronounced dead by a medical professional. Her identity has not been released.
Several children and another adult also sustained injuries during the crash. They were also transported to local hospitals in non-critical conditions.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
