Injury Accidents in Syracuse

Car accidents are a daily sight in our state. Utah car accidents range from inconsequential fender benders to serious or fatal collisions. Oftentimes, the injuries endured by car accident victims are so severe they require months, or even years, to fully recover.

Utah follows modified comparative fault auto insurance laws. This means that you are eligible to recover damages as long as the at-fault driver is liable for a larger percentage of fault than you. Should the jury determine that you were liable for a percentage of the accident, your damages will be reduced by that amount.

Utah’s auto insurance laws are intricate and take time and effort to fully understand, especially if you are trying to recover from a serious injury. A Utah personal injury attorney can walk you through the claims process, from consultation to settlement. That includes handling any investigation, calculations, and paperwork needed to get you the maximum amount of compensation.

If you or a family member was injured in a car accident and are fighting to figure out how you are going to handle the unexpected financial responsibility, you should reach out to a Utah car accident lawyer.
