Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT (October 17, 2021) – A woman died and a man is in critical condition after a vehicle rollover accident in Little Cottonwood Canyon on Sunday, October 17th.
The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Mandee Danielle Oberg, a resident of Lehi.
According to police, the crash took place at about 5:30 p.m. on SR-210 near 7877 East.
An investigation indicated that the male driver and his female passenger were driving westbound when he took a curve too sharp, veered into oncoming traffic, overcorrected, and crashed into the side of the mountain, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with critical injuries.
