Thousands of victims suffer from serious injuries caused by house fires every year. Many people who survive burn injuries will have to endure lengthy hospitalizations and, until they have fully healed, will be unable to return to work. Both of these obstacles can negatively affect their lives and the lives of their family. In addition to burn injuries, the victims of house fires are also susceptible to respiratory problems arising from massive smoke inhalation.
