North Salt Lake, UT – Worker Airlifted After Falling Into Gravel Pit

North Salt Lake, UT (June 22, 2021) – A worker was seriously injured on Monday, June 21st when he fell off of his bulldozer into a sand gravel pit in North Salt Lake.

The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was operating the bulldozer at about 9:00 a.m. when he fell approximately 50 feet into the pit.

A Lifeflight helicopter was able to lift the worker out of the pit and transport him to a trauma center. 

His current condition is unknown.
