Salt Lake City, UT (July 11, 2021) – One person died and four more sustained injuries on Sunday, July 11th in a Salt Lake City car accident.
Reports show that at about 5:00 p.m., an SUV and a car collided with one another at the intersection of North Temple and 900 West.
The adult male driving the car was killed.
The two adults and two children in the SUV were transported to area hospitals. One person was in critical condition but has since been upgraded to very serious.
Two other victims endured minor to moderate injuries, and the condition of the fourth victim is currently unknown.
The part of Utah Transit Authority’s TRAX green line was closed down between the scene and the Salt Lake City International Airport.
A crash reconstruction team is working to determine what caused the crash.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
