Salt Lake City, UT (July 02, 2021) – A bicyclist was left in serious condition when a car drifted into her lane and hit her on Friday, July 2nd in Cottonwood Heights.
The Cottonwood Heights Police Department stated that the woman was riding her bicycle in the southbound lane of Wasatch Boulevard at about 7:30 a.m. when a vehicle veered off the roadway and struck the cement barrier to the side of the southbound lanes and then struck the woman.
She was transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
The driver’s condition is unknown.
