Washington City, UT (December 06, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after a Nissan Xterra towing a small camp trailer exiting the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 collided with a Chevy Cruze heading northbound on Green Spring Drive on Sunday, December 5th.
Officials said the speed of the crash, which took place at about 5:50 p.m., caused the camp trailer to spin and drag the Nissan farther into the intersection where it collided with a Hyundai Sonata driving southbound on Green Spring Drive.
An investigation determined that the Xterra ran a stop sign and T-boned the Cruze on the passenger side.
The two men inside the Hyundai escaped serious injury.
Paramedics with Gold Cross Ambulance evaluated the injuries of the drivers and sole occupants in the Cruze and Xterra and transported both to St. George Regional Hospital.
