Moab, UT (April 17, 2021) – Two people were killed on Saturday, April 17th when their vehicle overturned on the Moab Rim Jeep Trail.
The vehicle’s driver, a 56-year-old man from Arizona, and his passenger, a 47-year-old male also from Arizona, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
The canyon was closed for several hours to allow for a thorough investigation.
Grand County Sheriff’s Office, Moab City Police Department, and the Utah Highway Patrol are all actively investigating the accident.
The names of the deceased have not been made known.
