Salt Lake City, UT (July 13, 2022) – On Wednesday, July 13th, a traffic collision caused injuries to at least one person on an interstate on-ramp in Salt Lake City.
According to sources, the incident took place at about 3:35 p.m. on Bangerter Highway at the bottom of the ramp connecting to the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 when two or more vehicles collided. The force of the impact caused one of the involved vehicles to overturn.
Local law enforcement and EMTs both responded to the scene. At least one victim was transferred by paramedics to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of this accident is under police investigation.
