Nephi, UT (July 25, 2022) – A truck operator was transferred by medical helicopter with critical injuries after a collision in Juab County on Monday, July 25th.
The Utah Highway Patrol said that a tractor-trailer transporting household appliances was involved in an accident at about 4:25 a.m.
The crash occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 15 near mile marker 216, just outside of Nephi.
The overturned semi obstructed traffic on all northbound lanes for over two hours. Crews managed to get one of the lanes reopened by 7:00 a.m. and the remaining lanes were opened by 9:00 a.m.
