Soldier Summit, UT (August 05, 2022) – Three people sustained critical injuries in a vehicle collision on Friday, August 5th that investigators believe was provoked, in part, by torrential rain, just outside of Soldier Summit.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, at about 4:00 p.m., an eastbound Ford Explorer hydroplaned into oncoming traffic where it T-boned a Mazda 6.
Two people were transported by medical helicopter and a third was taken by ambulance to area hospitals, all of them in critical condition.
The roadway was reopened around 6:00 p.m.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
A serious accident is an upsetting experience. As if the incident itself hasn’t shaken you enough, insurance companies commonly bully or deceive victims into agreeing to settle their claim for a lot less than it is worth. They often try to get you to sign on the dotted line before you have even received a thorough medical evaluation and know the severity of your injuries.
It is important that you do not let an overzealous insurance company employee con you into settling for less than you deserve.
If you were injured during a traffic accident, you most likely have more than a few urgent questions, such as:
- How am I going to afford my medical bills?
- How long will I be out of work?
- Is my insurance going to cover all of my crash-related damages?
A Utah personal injury attorney will be able to explain the entire legal process to you and help ease your feelings of anxiety, and confusion. A practiced attorney will know the smartest way to construct a compelling case and ensure that you progress through the stages of your claim as fast as possible.
