Salt Lake City, UT (August 03, 2022) – Officers from the Salt Lake City Police Department responded to the area of 700 East and 300 South for reports of a pedestrian fatality at about 9:45 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2nd.
Upon their arrival, police learned that a man riding a skateboard had been struck by a car. In spite of life-saving attempts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic in the area was impacted for several hours while police investigated.
