Salt Lake City, UT – Kerry Brown Identified As Pedestrian Fatality At 1300 South And Major St

Salt Lake City, UT (August 02, 2022) – Police are searching for a gold SUV that was involved in a fatal hit-and-run in the area of Major Street and 1300 South on Sunday, July 31st in Salt Lake City.

The investigation started at about 11:00 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a man who was struck by a driver that fled the scene. 

Upon their arrival, police and EMTs discovered the victim, since identified as 59-year-old Kerry Brown, on the ground, injured, and promptly began administering life-saving efforts. Unfortunately, Brown died at the scene.
