Herriman, UT (August 24, 2022) – A woman died on Wednesday, August 24th after she was struck by a car in Herriman.
The incident took place in the area of 14820 South and Northbound Mountain View Corridor at about 5:45 a.m.
The driver of a truck told authorities that he struck something in the roadway but wasn’t sure what it was. He exited his vehicle, saw the woman lying on the pavement, and called 911. The truck driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the police.
The victim’s age is estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old.
Northbound Mountain View Corridor was shut down for several hours while an investigation was conducted. The scene was cleared around 11:00 a.m.
