West Jordan, UT (April 26, 2022) – One person was killed during a hit-and-run incident in West Jordan on Tuesday, April 26th.
The crash took place at about 6:00 p.m. in the area of 9000 South and 1510 West.
According to police, the victim was a juvenile, who was riding a bicycle at the time of the accident. They were taken to Intermountain Medical Center where they passed away due to the severity of their injuries.
After the driver struck the child, they fled the scene. The suspect has since been taken into police custody.
