Hurricane, UT (December 05, 2021) – A two-vehicle collision near Hurricane on Saturday, December 4th sent three people to St. George Regional Hospital in serious condition.
The accident occurred when the 24-year-old male driver of a Subaru Impreza was traveling down a hill on State Route 59 near milepost 20 into Hurricane. At the same time, a Chevy Colorado being driven by a 70-year-old man with a 69-year-old female passenger was coming up the hill. For reasons that have yet to be determined, the two vehicles ran head-first into one another.
Both drivers and the female passenger required extrication from their vehicles.
The driver of the Subaru sustained injuries to his head and was taken to the hospital and immediately into surgery.
The driver of the pick-up truck was also endured serious injuries, including multiple broken bones in both legs.
