Beaver, UT – Three Critically Injured In Main St Collision

Beaver, UT (October 13, 2020) – Three people were critically injured on Sunday, October 11th in a head-on collision on South Main Street.

Based on initial police reports, the accident took place in the 600 block of South Main Street at about 4:00 p.m.

Officers from the Utah Highway Patrol stated that a black Nissan Armada was heading northbound along South Main Street and, in attempting to make a lefthand turn, failed to yield the right-of-way to an oncoming blue Toyota 4Runner causing the two to crash head-on.

The two occupants of the Nissan, a male driver and a female passenger, were both transported via ambulance to Beaver Valley Hospital for emergency medical treatment of critical injuries.

The driver of the Toyota, a male in his 30s, also suffered critical injuries. The Toyota’s passenger, a young boy, was restrained in a car seat and remained unharmed during the accident.

Local law enforcement says that traffic citations are pending.
